Lovemaking

True lovemaking is a affair beyond body, passion is the force that defines the quality of love making- burning desires, boiling emotions, the breathe of the lovers, the uncontrollable heart beats, the burning lips, hallucinated ayes and lastly the way bodies collide in passion.
The physical relationship is only a tip of the iceberg, the real relationship is soul sexing.

The western people think materialistic and they take sex too in a materialistic way.  They do not see any harm in paid sex and so they legalized prostitution. They call them sex workers, so as a worker they are providing services. They have brothels listed on stock exchange. They have sex vans on highways providing services on the way.
There are many, so called liberal people in India who want India to make sex work legal.  Their logic is, even if its not legal, prostitution is there, and these prostitutes living in unhygienic conditions and low paid, if it becomes legal they can earn well like their western counterparts. Sounds good logic, but that widens a door for making woman a subject of sex in already polluted thought of the society further without any respect for her. I am personally against any kind of paid sex. West or East, any part of the world prostitution is blot on human face, the act that belittles human dignity.  It is an undignified act from both the sides- consumer and service provider. Only thing worse than paid sex is rape which I feel is an unforgivable crime.  Sex is a nature’s precious gift for propagating own species, without emotions and respect for sex partner, sex is empty act, a mechanical pleasure exercise.
There are few songs that can capture the love making beyond physical body.  Today ma bringing that kind of song, though I am not happy with the picturization of the song. but the song is classic and having a feel of soul sexing.
In pyasa by Guru Dutt, the scene in the song- aaj sajan mohe ang laga lo,
Gulabo (Waheeda Rahman) and Vijay (Guru Dutt) are on the roof the way Gulabo feels to touch the Vijay`s body, is beyond ordinary feel of desire to hug, They are standing at a distance, her soul is touching her love but it seemed her body is demanding its share.
Anyway, too much heavy talk before a song.
Today`s song is from movie kartaya starring Dharmendra and Rekha- Doori  na rahe na koi aaj itney kareeb ayo .
The enigmatic voice of Lata, the music by Laxmi Pyare... superb, and main thing is the lyrics by little known Kafil Azaar. In totality a sensibly chiseled and crafted GEM- the song is.

OOOOooOOOOoooOoooOOOOOO
OOOOO OoooOoooOOOOOO
doori
doori na rahe koi
aaj itne kareeb aaoo
doori na rahe koi
aaj itne kareeb aaoo
main tum mein samaa jaaun
tum mujh mein samaa jaao
main tum mein sama jaaun
tum mujh mein samaa jaao
doori na rahe koi
aaj itne kareeb aaoo
main tum mein sama jaaun
tum mujh mein samaa jaao

saanson ki haraarat se
tanhaai pighal jaaye
jalte hue hoothon ka
armaan nikal jaaye
saason ki hararat se
tanhaai pighal jaaye
jalte hue hoothon ka
armaan nikal jaaye
armaan nikal jaaye
chaahat ki ghaata ban kar
yoon mujhpe baras jaao
main tum mein samaa jaaun
tum mujhe mein samaa jaao
main tum mein samaa jaaun
tum mujhe mein samaa jaao

yeh baat na thi ab se pahle
kabhi jeene mein
yeh baat na thi ab se pahle
kabhi jeene mein
dil ban ke dhadkte ho
tumhi mere seene mein
Kabhi saath na chodoge
tum meri kasam khaao
main tumein sama jaaun
tum mujhe mein sama jaao
doori na rahe koi
aaj itne kareeb aaoo
main tumein sama jaaun
tum mujhe mein sama jaao
main tumein samaa jaun

tum mujhe mein samaa jaao

After a long hiatus returning back on musical track, no new song stimulated me to write. I haven`t felt urge to listen music.
My earphones remained idle for almost four months. I listened sometimes in between but was not able to relish the tunes.
Perhaps searching for some song that could put me again on track of interest.

While travelling, one old   bhoola bisra song echoed in my mind- le chal mere jivan saathi le chal pyar hi pyar ho jahan. Voice of Mukesh and Hemlata is soothing, lyric is simple.
Everything is ordinary; still the song has the power to fire the imagination, to think about world of love.
While the man in the song searches for perfect world but the lady in the song conveys the thought that togetherness is important that makes any place lovable.

I love the way mukesh say le chal...

Sahir- pal dou pal ka sayar forever.

My favorite lyricist got unique recognition;  Hon'ble President of India released a postal ticket of Rs. 5 on Sahir Ludhianvi.  One of the most brilliant but hearty lyricist who lived in a professional world of hindi cinema but rarely compromised on his poetry.  He was a magician who captured feelings with words as his props.(  true to his name, Sahir  means magician)

WHENEVER I remember Sahir one song comes in mind- kabhie kabhie mere dil main khyal ata hai… . It’s a matchless song that is like a milestone, rare combination of  voiceof mukesh ,lata, music by khyam. This is phenomenal song that won three filmfare awards for best music - to Khayyam, best singer- to Mukesh and best lyrics -to Sahir for the year. 1976.
This song is dedicated to one of my hosteler friend at univ., Deepak kalia who used to listen this song in loop. He suffered the pain of lost love.
do not forget to listen last line carefully, the essence of the song.    -Main jaanta hoon ki tu geir hai magar yoon hi...
Kabhi kabhi mere dil mein khayaal aata hai.

Feel the melody of this song……

Kabhi kabhi mere dil mein khayaal aata hai
Ki jaise tujhko banaya gaya hai mere liye
Tu abse pehle sitaaron mein bass rahi thi kahin
Tujhey zameen pe bulaya gaya hai mere liye

Kabhi kabhi mere dil mein khayaal aata hai
Ki ye badan ye nigaahein meri amaanat hain
Ye gesuon ki ghani chhaon hai meri khatir
Ye honth aur ye baahein meri amaanat hain

Kabhi kabhi mere dil mein khayaal aata hai
Ki jaise bajti hain shehnaaiyaan si raahon mein
Suhaag raat hain ghoonghat utha raha hoon main
Simat rahi hai tu sharma ke apni baahon mein

Kabhi kabhi mere dil mein khayaal aata hai
Ki jaise tu mujhe chaahegi umr bhar yoon hi
Uthegi meri taraf pyaar ki nazar yoon hi
Main jaanta hoon ki tu geir hai magar yoon hi...

Kabhi kabhi mere dil mein khayaal aata hai.

master piece

Western influence on music is visible in most of the Indian popular music. The singing style is still Indian but music and preference for western musical instruments has heavily increased. The songs with truly unique Indian spirit are rare.  One song that comes in my mind that can be claimed as truly master piece of Indian music.  It could be counted  as  niche song , totally away from the territory of  western music. In every aspect, lyrics, singing and music; it is  INDIAN.
 Masterpiece  by Pierre-Auguste Renoir
Let me explain further, singing-  very relaxed but with flow of Indian classical touch. Lyric with  Indian heart,   generally lyrics are  with tuk -bandi, but here lyricist is with deep content, he is not worried about tukbandi , his pen has flowed without break, the emotions are again truly Indian, like- akhon ki sarmo haya,  jhuki ankhain, kajal ka till, ye zindagi apki hi amanat rahegi. This kind of poetry is gifted one. Lastly Music, matchless, wonderful, class, I could use all superlatives but still would be less.  We know Ravana had sacrified his head ten times to make Lord Shiva happy. I could sacrifice at least one head to this song. I salute you ISMAIL DARBAR for this brilliant album. Whenever I think about Indian Hindi film music two albums instantly come in my mind. One is 70`s SATYAM SHIVAM SUNDRAM and another is 90`s HUM DIL DE CHUKE SANAM.  I feel both album are complete, songs are EK SE BADHKAR EK.  When song is so beautiful combination of lyric, singing and music, the song can be listened many times while enjoying different aspects of the song.  Do not forget to enjoy that the song begins with flute. i consider it a master piece of Indian  Hindi film MUSIC.

BE MY VALENTINE

I got fascinated by the science news-First-Ever Incredible Footage of a Thought Being Formed. Actually Some Japanese scientist has clicked the picture of brain at the moment of neuron fires that are origin of a particular thought. Seeing that picture reinforced my earlier belief with a scientific fact that true understanding is wordless. The thought is a set of neuron fires and what we interpret with the help of language is a mere interpretation, and interpretation can be variable person to person.
Not going very deep in science let me come to the point, body`s natural language and feelings are much older than the languages we speak for communication.
On the moving train when I looked in eyes of my love; the eyes sent a hallucinating wave, I still have no words for that addiction that looked like a sweet scented dream world , walking on the road in pouring rain, the hug in drenched clothes said something and how could words contain that feeling without overflow?. The first kiss on her palms in the temple, after that her uncontrolled breath and trembling of whole body in shyness. Could any prose or poem capture that totality?
Then the deep pain stuck swollen eyes that poured tears whole night before the day of separation. The speechless trembling lips wanted to say uncountable things but kept on chanting my name, the joyful rosy face became like a trampled rose. The feeling of the moment was just the world should end here so that there may not be any scope for separation or can`t this time freeze here only.
Those things can be written like a novel but all those words can be blown to nothingness if ever punched by our first sweet kiss.
So if I say any love related words, those will be too less…
But still I say BE MY VALENTINE.

AMO SHUM!

The song for my valentine-
