“mar jawaan” is a Punjabi word.

only person who heard using it by Punjabi people can understand its depth. Actually they say it like: “Hii main marr jaawan!”. It means finding something precious than life, so precious that one can sacrifice life for it.

This song is extra ordinary in every aspect, the singing, Shurti pathak’s voice, music by Merchant brothers Salim- Sulaiman and lyrics.

After many years, I found some words never used before like this. I tempted to search the web for the man - Sandeep Nath(lyricist).

Merchant brothers deserve appreciation for using Arabic, something not normal in bollywood.

Salim merchant’s Arabic singing gives mystic punch to the song.

I saw many reviews of this song but unfortunately most of the people misunderstanding this song as they are seeing just the literal meaning of the song not the deeper meaning.

The very purpose of the words used by lyricist to convey emotions got lost in superficial glance.

Anyway! Music blood people , listen this song again in deeper sense. Hope u would love it.

meaning simplified (Arabic lines): Apparently it is visible that i am burning in agony of your memories(due to separation),

the air, light and Allah are witness, you promised to meet me but failed.

You may accept your wrongdoing infront of air, light and Allah but

still you cannot deny that you have given me pain by not keeping your promise.
